![]() On June 25, 2015, New Yorkers will take part in the city’s annual Heritage of Pride parade. This year’s theme is “Out Loud and Proud,” and parade organizers are expecting over two million people to attend. Each year, the Gay Pride Parade features a different theme, and the parade route is decorated accordingly. ![]() Along the way, the parade passes some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Empire State Building, Times Square, and the New York Stock Exchange. The parade route runs through the heart of Manhattan, starting at 36th Street and Fifth Avenue and ending at Christopher Street and Greenwich Village. The annual Gay Pride Parade in New York City is one of the largest and most well-attended Pride events in the world.
